This was an evening with two separate one acts: one written by Sabina Berman, the other written by Dario Fo.
The Agony of Ecstasy: Set in present-day Mexico City, Mexico, The Agony of Ecstasy consists of four short plays, each centering around a woman and man, simply referred to as ‘She’ and ‘He.’
The Virtuous Burglar: A burglar is discovered when the owner of the flat returns unexpectedly with his mistress. When the owner's wife arrives, the burglar is forced to pretend the mistress is his wife.
